Is the railroad so removed from general culture that we refer to a Pullman Standard Observation car as a caboose? For the record, a caboose is not and has not been historically part of the passenger train equipment line-up, and has been all but absent from freight trains for decades. I also suspect the reported date of construction for the car, known as Georgia-300 may be wrong. It seems the Huffington Post first published it inaccurately as being constructed in 1939.
