While the tour covers a lot of Portland history, quirks, facts and trivia, the central theme of the walk is New Urbanism. We introduce visitors to Tri-Met (Portland's award-winning public transportation system), the Downtown Plan, "Clear Vistas," public art, downtown living, Flex-Car, an electric car charging station, green building concepts, and more.

The tour lasts 2 1/2 hours and covers 1 1/2 miles.
