The New Colonist does not sell, trade, loan, or give away any information about site visitors, survey respondents, or subscribers to any third party whatsoever. We ask for information simply and only to generate demographic data about our readership in the aggregate, and to let us inform you of The New Colonist's activities and fulfill subscription requests.
Any personal information a visitor supplies to The New Colonist will be used for our own internal purposes only. We will never release any information about a specific individual visitor. We will publish results of our demographic and opinion surveys, but that will comprise aggregated data only.
We will publish names of writers and photographers who contribute to The New Colonist, along with their email addresses, should they permit, and we will publish names of contributors to our "…in a Few Words" features, as well as references to individuals who may be public resources, with their permission, but all personal information supplied to us by website visitors will remain anonymous.
